THERE WAS NO NEED TO GET CAUGHT NAKED ONLINE SAYS CELLTRUST

CellTrust Corporation Provides Secure Mobile Technologies to Reduce Consumers’ Cell Phone Exposure to Fraudulent Activities

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. — October 12, 2007 — Celebrities Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are in the news this week due to Ashton leaving his cell phone in a taxicab earlier this year. Little did Ashton know that he could have prevented the costly embarrassment of Demi’s exposure online by simply wiping the pictures from his cell phone the minute he realized it was lost last April.

In 2006, picture downloads, music, video gaming, adult entertainment, gambling, and video/TV were the largest sources of revenue from mobile services totaling $31 billion (AP-AOL-Pew Research Center Survey). However, while cell phones provide for increased connectivity, it is glaringly apparent from this week’s celebrity news and other similar stories that consumers still remain for the most part unaware of the risks involved as they continue to load their personal and work information onto their mobile devices.

According to CellTrust Corporation CEO Sean Moshir, “Cell phones were not designed to handle complex data, transactions, graphics, and lengthy text. But this trend continues as the demand for mobility increases. Yet, most mobile phone users are currently unaware of the security risks these sophisticated devices create.”

On a mission to secure the mobile device, Scottsdale-based CellTrust Corporation (www.celltrust.com.) has brought to market a Secure Mobile Information Management platform and suite of mobile applications engineered to manage and deliver information and mobile content in a timely, intelligent and secure manner from SMS to the most advanced micro-client delivery with the ability to detect suspicious activities and automatically wipe/reload data from the mobile phone upon loss or theft.

“Unfortunately, the public-at-large are still unaware of the technologies they can implement today to protect themselves from fraudulent activities, identity theft, and on occasion the worst form of embarrassment,” said Moshir.

Editors Note: By combining mobile marketing and security, it is CellTrust Corporation’s intent to lead the transformation of the global marketplace into an inherently secure mobile environment. CellTrust CEO and IT Security and Mobile-Wireless Authority Sean Moshir is available for comment on this and other mobile security topics.
